Get ready for some great playoff baseball as the Tampa Bay Rays are aiming for a World Series title in 2010. The Rays have had a great time this year and the players are ready to play their best baseball of the year. Its time to get up on those Rays play Rays playoff tickets to be at the Trop for all the action. The Tampa Bay Rays have maybe the best rotation in the big leagues, in the American League anyway. And there is extra incentive for the Rays this year as some of their biggest names are going to be free agents this off-season. Sure regular season game’s at Tampa Bay don’t really sell out, but Rays playoff tickets are totally different. All the Rays fans come out for the post-season, and should they end up selling playoff ALCS tickets they are then the fans will get those cowbells out. Rays Manager Joe Maddon has been great with his young staff for years now, and he knows what it takes to win in the post-season. Can the Rays make it all the way to the World Series? Get those tickets right away and see the fun in person.
New York Yankees
It should come as no surprise that the New York Yankees are again in the playoffs, but while last year they entered the post-season looking almost invincible, this year there are a few chinks in their armor. But that hasn’t really affected sales of Yankees playoff tickets at all! Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte and Jorge Posada are all a year older, and all have struggled at times throughout the season. But the “core four” aren’t nearly the issue as the Yankees starting rotation is. Staff ace CC Sabathia won 20 games and has been electric all, but he is just one man. At some point, Pettitte, AJ Burnett, Javier Vazquez, Phil Hughes, or Joba Chamberlain will need to win a game. They definitely have the talents to get back to selling Yankees World Series tickets, but we’ll see they look after the NLCS (schedule) plays out. And lets not forget about the rest of the American League playoff picture.
Minnesota Twins
The Minnesota Twins have won the AL Central race once again, and fans are excited! Hopes are high in Minneapolis, and Twins playoff tickets will not be along very long. That is not new for fans of the Twins, but what is new is the stadium. Now the Twins enter with a potent lineup and some veteran pitching. The Twins have been a perennial playoff team, however they usually get bounced from the post-season pretty early. But Manager Ron Gardenhire is looking to change that, and with perhaps the best Twins roster in a ages, the time is now. They’ll be looking for World Series MLB tickets for sure should the Twins make it all the way, and that is a definitely possibility. The New York Yankees won the World Series after opening their new stadium. Now the spotlight is on the Twins to do the same. There is some question about how October baseball outside in Minnesota will go over, but our guess is that Twins playoff tickets will still be very hot sellers.
Texas Rangers
And over in the AL West, the Texas Rangers have taken the division from the LA Angels for the first time in ages. While its tough for the Angels, its good to see some new blood in the playoffs. They can’t get enough sports in Texas, and while Texas Rangers playoff tickets are definitely going to be hot sellers. Josh Hamilton has been a great hitter for years now, and paid him with Vlad Guerrero and the Rangers are a tough out. After coming over from the Mariners, Cliff Lee has been the ace of the Rangers staff, and looks to be just as good as he was with Philadelphia last year. They cannot wait to see how the Rangers respond to being the post-season for the first time in over a decade, and Rangers Ballpark at Arlington is going to be rocking for sure this October. Sure they are going to buy a ton of Dallas Cowboys football tickets for their NFL fix, but playoff baseball is like nothing else. Those Rangers playoff tickets are going to be going really fast, so get out there and cheer on your team today!
